| Austin Actors Timeline: March 2000 Site went live. Articles posted by contributing authors, Cast & Crew Calls, resources, Trant Batey's film news; Monthly mixers at rec room with screening room fitted with rows of easy chairs. Fall 2001 Mixers moved to Momo's Club for the next three years, speakers and guests on stage. Fall 2004 Automated posting on the website ends, cast and crew calls filtered and inserted by hand, focus on readability, integrity of posts, and on clutter reduction. Articles Archived. 2005 - 2010 Site primarily a mechnism for Cast/Crew Call posts for local independent as well commerical and student productions. Brief History: Austin Actors (AustinActors.net) was created in 2000 by Brad Koester. The entity started as both a social mixer and website, a network for talented writers, directors, producers, cast and crew, in and around Austin.
