We all have goals and lofty aims

And chores we have to do

They’re sometimes called dirty names

Before the day is through

The time allotted soon runs out

And not a second to spare

This makes us rant and rave and shout

The Quote "I just don’t care"

The lines of least resistance loom

As the only way to go

The hour’s minutes seem to zoom

And never pass us slow

Hoping that your goals aren’t far

And your eyes will come to see

‘Cause the Master never sets the bar

Too high for you and me

Together we can do it all

And flaunt eternally
